Sodastream is the world leading manufacturer of home carbonation machines, allowing customers to turn ordinary water into sparkling water. We also produce accessories like bottles, gas canisters and flavoring products.
Hi, I am Nir Rehav, Head of Global IT at SodaStream. SodaStream operates in 46 countries, generating an annual revenue of over $600 million. We sell our products in over 30,000 doors around the world. While in recent years eCommerce has taken the spotlight, our main channel to consumers is brick-and-mortar stores. We needed to find a solution for physical touch points – our “little operations”. It had to be a mobile solution that works online and offline – that was a must-have requirement and of course we must cover the basics – a way to manage shelves, manage planograms and take orders. On top of that, we had our IT requirements: we wanted to standardize how we work, how we operate, collect data and deploy solutions. This is a huge challenge for us because of the global nature of our business. My vision for Sodastream IT is to standardize our infrastructure on a cloud-based, SaaS solution. We chose NetSuite and Pepperi as our B2B sales solution.
Pepperi Impacted Operations and Reps Like Working With It
With Pepperi we can configure different forms of business flows for each region and answer the specific business needs. Pepperi made a real impact on the way we operate, we have noticed our reps really like working with the solution and the onboarding is really quick and simple. We use it for guided selling and guide retail execution.
I also like the ability to provide managers with data they can use for better management. We have launched Pepperi in the U.S and shortly after, deployed it in northern Europe and Australia. Our plans, going forward, are to deploy it in all remaining territories, making it a standard app for all our field teams.
